Early Years Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Brighton College Dubai is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed FS1 Class Teacher to join our outstanding Pre-Prep team on a temporary maternity cover contract for Term 2 of the 2026/27 academic year.

Our approach combines high expectations with purposeful learning through play, ensuring every child is challenged, supported and encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity and kindness.

We are looking for an excellent practitioner who understands the importance of building strong relationships with young children and creating an engaging, nurturing and ambitious learning environment. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, reflective and committed to ensuring that every pupil is able to thrive.

Experience of teaching within Early Years would be advantageous, although we would also welcome applications from strong primary practitioners with a genuine interest in Early Years and a willingness to embrace our approach.

Requirements

As this is a temporary maternity cover position, applicants must currently hold their own or sponsored UAE residence visa and medical insurance.

Applicants must hold academic qualifications that have been attested in line with UAE requirements, together with a valid Certificate of Recognition issued by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) for their qualification relevant to the role. Both documents must be provided before an appointment can be confirmed, and the appointment is conditional upon them meeting MOHESR, KHDA, and MOHRE requirements.

The appointment is subject to the College's safer recruitment procedures, including appropriate background and safeguarding checks.
