We are seeking an outstanding, inspirational and ambitious Primary Teacher with Sport and Physical Education Specialism (Spanish Qualified ) to join our team. Responsibilities
Teach Lengua and Ciencias Sociales within the Spanish National Primary Curriculum.
Deliver outstanding Physical Education lessons across Prep and Senior School.
Coach major sports, athletics, swimming and fitness across a range of ages and abilities.
Contribute to the development of a vibrant sporting culture and competitive fixture programme.
Collaborate with colleagues teaching the English National Curriculum to create meaningful curriculum links.
Promote excellence, inclusion, creativity and innovation in teaching and sport.
Monitor pupil progress through effective assessment, feedback and target setting.
Support pupils through pastoral responsibilities and tutorial duties.
Lead and contribute to co-curricular and sporting activities, competitions and events.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to uphold the Brighton College values of Curiosity, Confidence and Kindness.
Contribute actively to safeguarding, wellbeing and the wider life of the College.
Skills and Qualifications
Maestro/a de Educación Primaria con Mención en Educación Física.
A level of English that enables effective teaching and professional collaboration within a British curriculum school.
Proven experience of effective classroom teaching and excellent pupil progress.
Strong coaching experience across a range of sports and age groups.
Experience contributing to a broad co-curricular programme.
Experience coaching at academy, regional or national level would be advantageous.
Sound understanding of safeguarding and safe practice in sport.
Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
International school experience or an international outlook is desirable.
